This week's photo was submitted by Misty from "Through A Photographer's Eyes."
As soon as I saw this photo, I knew what I was going to do with it! First I opened it in ACR and did a bunch of stuff with those sliders, but didn't bother to write it down. Then I edited it again in ACR to get the background just how I wanted it, and used a few layer masks to bring it all together. Then I did some cloning to get rid of a few unwanted objects. Next I ran the Ampad action, Yonkers, and changed the opacity on a few of the layers. Lastly, I clicked on Enhance ---> Adjust Lighting ---> Shadows/Highlights and played around with those sliders. It's a lovely old tractor!

what a fun edit... well done
You really brightened the photo up and brought some great pop to the colors. Great job.
Love your edit! And to answer you question about my black and white conversions, for most of them I use MCP Actions One Click Black and White.
i really like how you brought out the highlights of the tractor and added a metallic feel to it : )
I didn't even think to clone out those distraction. You've done a wonderful job isolating and emphasizing the beauty of the tractor!
You did an amazing job on this edit... I can't even believe it is the same photo! Really excellent work, Amy!
